BLOOMINGTON – The local municipal election for Bloomington is today. The voter turnout at one polling place, Hansen Student Center on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University, has been fairly modest.
Election Judge Tim Dooley was able to confirm that they’ve had over one-hundred people turn up to vote as of 1 pm today. It seems unlikely that that voter turnout will have a sharp increase for the rest of the day, with the most busy time of day for the election being between the hours of 9 and 11 a.m.
