COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. – Redbird junior diver Caroline Lecoeur was named to the 2020 College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Division I All-America team.
Lecoeur was a 4-time MVC Diver of the Week and an all-conference selection this season. At the Valley Championships, she placed 3rd in 1-meter diving and 5th in 3-meter diving. Back in November, she also qualified for the NCAA Diving Zones for her performances on the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events.
“This honor is a great representation of the season Caro had, leading the Redbirds on the boards throughout the season,” said Diving Coach Phil Hoffmann. “Having earned the award based on qualification during the entire season, I couldn’t be happier for her, especially with the turbulent turn of events while at the Zone Championships.”
Lecoeur is the first ISU diver to receive the honor since Wenting Zhang did so in 2014 and 2015.
