For a Better Tomorrow announced the recipients of the 2021 Why I See You (YICU) Service Awards virtually on Sunday, September 19. YICU uses this ceremony to honor young people that make a difference in their community through volunteering in their neighborhoods.

“They seem to be always doing something for others,” said YICU Steering Committee member Kathy Weinzerl. “They should all be applauded for their involvement in the community.”

YICU nominees can be anyone between 12 and 22 years old from McLean County. Community leaders, teachers and classmates are just a few of the many peers that nominate people for this award.

For a Better Tomorrow is a non-profit organization comprised of passionate and philanthropic global citizens and donors who seek to practice “accountable philanthropy through service and leadership.”
