PEORIA, Ill. — This upcoming holiday season, Peoria Civic Center welcomes back violinist Lindsey Stirling for a holiday show on Dec. 4.
Stirling has attracted over 13 million subscribers along with more than 3 billion views on YouTube. In 2015 Forbes placed Stirling as the highest-ranked female artist in the #4 spot on its yearly YouTube artists list.
Marketing Manager of Peoria Civic Center, Kelsy Martin describes the return of Lindsey Stirling.
“We are really excited to welcome her back. We actually had her in December of 2019 and it was a sold-out show. People really loved that it was a holiday show and she is just so active on stage with her performance. It really got people in the holiday spirit, so we were really excited when she was going back on tour this year and were able to get a spot with her.”
With the show coming up, there is still time to buy tickets but the Peoria Civic Center is hoping for another sellout show from the viral star.
“We are hoping for another sellout. At this time, there are still tickets available and we still got a few months to go, so hopefully, we’ll have a full crowd there,” she said.
The Peoria Civic Center has more holiday shows in store such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer the Musical, a Christmas show from Martina McBride, and an Elf on the Shelf coming to life to bring Christmas cheer for everyone on stage.
