NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois Student Assistance Commission has announced that for those needing assistance in filling out their FAFSA, there is help.
ISAC Spokesperson Lynn Baker spoke on how ISAC can help students get prepared for secondary schooling.
“Both ISAC and our partners and high schools have workshops statewide that are also virtual to help students complete their college applications.”
Free Application for Federal Student Aid, more commonly known as FAFSA. This is how many students across the United States receive assistance for student aid from our federal government in addition to scholarships provided by the student’s university that they attend.
The application opened on October 1, and closes at 11:59 p.m. June 30, 2024. Any corrections or updates on the FAFSA must be done by 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 14, 2024.
