NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State University’s annual Winter Fest is coming back to campus this week. Graduate Assistant Taylor Otterson spoke on how the Brown Ballroom holds the many Registered Student Organizations on campus.
‘We started talking and planning the event back in October,” Otterson said. “We like to look back at last year’s event to see what went well and what didn’t go well. Based on that we know what to do differently to make each event better.”
Otterson also spoke on the difference between Festival ISU and Winter Fest.
“The only difference is that we can’t host as many RSOs as we normally do for Festival ISU due to size but overall the transition side of things is really easy’’. Otterson said.
This year’s Winter Fest will include over 100 organizations, resources and RSO’s for students to interact with and potentially find their place at ISU
Winter Fest will take place in the Bone Student Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.
