The Bloomington-Normal Area Convention and Visitors Bureau has partnered with The Stable Music Hall & Lounge to host its first ever nut festival in Downtown Bloomington.
The BN Nuts Festival will be on Saturday, September 10 from 1:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m. Sponsored by BEER NUTS Brand Snacks, this family – oriented event will feature nut- inspired food and beverage tasting along with live performances, a kids zone, and chef demonstrations.
The Bloomington- Normal Area Convention and Visitors Bureau were looking for new ways, coming out of the pandemic, to give opportunities for locals and visitors to take part in new activities and events in the community.
Director of Sports and Market Development Matt Hawkins explains what he is most looking forward to during the event.
“With all the events that have been cancelled over the years because of Covid-19, I am excited to hear some live music out there on front street,” said Hawkins. “I think it’s going to be a cool venue. Just giving that festival atmosphere and the live music is what I’m looking forward to the most.”
The vendor market will include restaurants, food trucks, breweries, retail stores, arts/craft vendors, non-profit organizations, and more.
