NORMAL, Ill. — All sexual assault victims are guaranteed to have a voice on Monday.

From 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Steppingstones, Flame and Students Ending Rape Culture hosted the Clothesline Project on the quad.

The event is symbolic to those who have been victims of sexual assault. These people are given the opportunity to write their testimony on a T-shirt, which is hung on a clothesline exhibit.

Along with the display, the event included a T-shirt-making station for anyone to tell their story. Volunteers were also able to use this as a way to earn community service hours.

The Clothesline Project takes place once every semester.
