On this week’s edition of “Second Look”, WZND’s Colleen Holden, John Rozny, and the News and Sports team covered the agenda of last week’s Normal Town Council meeting, Governor Pritzker’s announcement of a $10 million grant to the Southern Illinois Healthcare Cancer Institute, news from last week and over the break, and a press conference with Coach Ryan Pedon after the Men’s Basketball game against Drake last Wednesday.

The show opened with a clip from the Normal Town Council meeting in which Normal City Manager Pam Reece was inducted into the Tri-County River Valley Development Authority as the official representative for McClean County (1:00-2:30).

Following this was audio from Governor Pritzker’s speech at the SIH Cancer Institute, where he announced the grant, what it will go toward and why it matters (3:00-6:45).

Next, John and Colleen gave a run-down on the news during winter break and over the past week, as well as an update on Redbird and local high school sports. (6:55-10:35).

Finally, the show closed with an interview with Ryan Pedon from the press conference immediately following Wednesday’s Redbird Men’s Basketball game against Drake (11:08-15:50).
