Franz Ferdinand, The Human Fear

I chose to review the new Franz Ferdinand album The Human Fear. Overall, I felt that the album had a great vibe, it was upbeat and easy to listen to. I listened to the full album walking around campus on a 60-degree day and the album really matched the spring vibe and I could definitely see myself adding this album to my rotation in the coming months. My favorite song on the album was everydaydreamer, the chorus was catchy and fun and will be stuck in my head for a while. I also really enjoyed the song hooked, there was a really cool electronic sound that I enjoyed, and the song is overall fun and quirky. Another song on the album that I found super interesting was tell me I should stay, this song started out with a full minute of classical piano then right before the vocals came in it transitioned to a jazz type beat and I thought the incorporation of all these ideas was really cool to hear. This album is not the most stand out album, but it was a solid album that has a good number of songs I enjoyed.
