In the February edition of “Birds-I-View” Colleen Holden, Lauren Leisure and Bella Marello took a look at the decline of higher education due to a birth rate drop during the 2008 recession.

The show opened with Nathan Cihak looking into what happened 18 years ago leading to a decline in higher education now (1:54-5:10). Following this, Allie Hunn focused on how this will affect Illinois State University’s, and other public university’s, budget going forward (5:32-8:07).
