NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State University Police Department reported two hit-and-run vehicle damage incidents last week. The first occurred on Thursday around 1:30 p.m. near the Bone Student Center parking lot, and the second took place Friday at 5 p.m. near the intersection of Locust and Fell.
The Normal Police Department reported three vehicle burglaries last week. The incidents were logged on Monday at 2 p.m. near Vernon and Linden, Thursday at 5:30 a.m. near Vernon and Towanda, and later that same day at 1 p.m. near Willow and Linden.
In Bloomington, police arrested a suspect on Wednesday for possession of methamphetamine and unlawful cannabis use while driving. That same day, the department also reported an aggravated assault involving a deadly weapon- an air rifle.
