NORMAL, Ill. – This February, the Illinois Heart and Lung Foundation is planning a variety of events to fundraise for its program, which will help the health of the community. These events will feature dance, fitness and workout.

Executive Director Lisa Slater said, “What we want is for people to get some good, healthy exercise and to support the charity and the community who’s really trying to improve health outcomes of people.”

The event this Sunday, Feb. 2 from 10:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. and will be held in the Four Seasons multipurpose-room.

These events are being held as an opportunity for the community to support the Illinois Heart and Lung Foundation’s (IHLF) automated external defibrillator (AED) program.

All events are opened to everyone, regardless of membership.

The donations collected will be put forth to help the IHLF provide AEDs for numerous local schools, churches and non-profit agencies.
