NORMAL, Ill. – McLean County voters can feel safe knowing their polling place is being sanitized.

According to McLean County Clerk Kathy Michael, locations have the necessary cleaning supplies to combat Coronavirus fears.

“We sent out hand sanitizers to all the polling places this morning,” said Michael. “All the judges have my personal text and they are to let us know when they are running low.”

Michael said they had “runners” at each location to maintain supplies before they run out. She also expanded on the space concerns being taken.

“We also mentioned space consideration,” said Michael. “They try not to sit boaters when they’re voting as close as we normally do.”

Michael assured all locations were taking the necessary precautionary measures.
