NORMAL, Ill. Running as a Republican for McLean County Auditor is Trisha Malot has a bit of experience in the county already.
She currently works for the Behavioral Health offices in McLean County.
“The outcome of tonight’s results simply dictate in what way I move forward with serving the County. If I lose, I remain dedicated to improving the behavioral health of our community. If I win, I continue to pursue becoming the next Auditor in an effort to enhance collaboration and efficiency in the office,” said Malot.
She will pursue incumbent Auditor Michelle Anderson and make sure that everyone is held accountable within the office.
Malot is compassionate to those who feared the Coronavirus and believes it is a choice that all people can exercise.
“I believe COVID-19 has likely resulted in many not voting, with understandable concern by those who may not have risked going to the polls,” said Malot.
“I believe voting is a personal choice, both the act of doing so and who a person may choose. While I hope I was the choice for Auditor for many, I respect an individual’s choice,” said Malot.
