NORMAL – Redbird women’s basketball announced the addition of DeAnna Wilson who signed her National Letter of Intent to play for the Redbirds.
This past season with Moberly Area Community College, Wilson averaged over 15 points and 9 rebounds per game to help the Greyhounds earn a spot in the national championship tournament.
“We are thrilled to add DeAnna as the final piece to our 2020 recruiting class,” said Gillespie. “DeAnna is a fierce competitor that will have a chance to make an immediate impact on our program. Her ability to score in a variety of ways will add another dimension to our front court.”
Wilson joins 3 other newcomers who are set to begin play for the Redbirds during the 2020-2021 season.
