NORMAL – Dusan Mahoric signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his athletic career with Redbird men’s basketball.
NORMAL – Illinois State head men’s basketball head coach Dan Muller has announced the addition of Dusan Mahorcic, who signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the Redbirds starting in the 2020-2021 season.
At Moberly Area Community College, Mahoric made over 59% of his field goal attempts and blocked 33 shots. Mahoric also had six double-doubles when he grabbed more than 10 rebounds.
“Dusan is a 6-10 athletic post player who can really run the floor,” said Muller. “He is physical, very competitive, and I believe will continue to develop into a terrific all-around player.”
In 18 games with Lewis University, he shot over 52% from the field while averaging over 4 points and 2 rebounds per game. During his senior year at Notre Dame College Prep, he averaged 17.5 points and 13.3 rebounds per game.
Mahoric joins five other newcomers for the upcoming season, including Kotov who signed his NLI yesterday.
