NORMAL, Ill. – Weibring Golf Club is set to re-open this Friday, but has put a series of limitations in place based on Governor Pritzker’s executive order.
While the course will be open for play, these precautions are to help protect the health and safety of their customers.
Those interested in coming to the course should register for a time online and only play in teams of two. Golfers will only be allowed to walk as no golf carts will be issued. The chipping and putting green in addition to the clubhouse and snack bar will also remain closed.
Golfers should maintain a social distancing length of six feet between one another and those showing COVID-19 symptoms should stay home. Other suggestions by the course include washing your hands, bringing hand sanitizer with you on the course and only handle your own ball and scorecard.
These precautions will be put in place at least through the month of May, but are subject to change based on the status of the current situation.
