NORMAL, Ill. – The Redbird men’s basketball team released an updated conference schedule Friday afternoon.

Whether than a usual home and home series, all Missouri Valley Conference contests will be played on back-to-back days at one location. The only exception is when the Redbirds and the Bradley Braves will each get a home game against each other.

After starting MVC play on the road against Loyola (12/27-12/28), the Redbirds return home for a pair of games against Valparaiso (1/2/1-3).  Then, ISU goes on the road against Evansville (1/9-1/10) followed by a homestand against Indiana State (1/16/1-17). Later, the Redbirds head to Carver Arena to tip-off against Bradley (1/20). Finally, Illinois State finished out the month of January on the road against Drake (1/30-1/31).

February’s conference games start at Redbird Arena against Missouri State (2/6-2/7). The Birds then head to Carbondale the following week to face Southern Illinois (2/13-2/14). Next, the War on I-74 heads to Redbird Arena (2/17). Illinois State finished out their MVC schedule at home against Northern Iowa (2/26-2/27).

Times for all MVC games are still to be determined. Stay tuned to WZND for more updates including live coverage of ISU’s home games.
