BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Ewing Cultural Center is hosting the “Trick-Or-Treating at the Manor”.
Toni Tucker, director of the Ewing Cultural Center says that on Halloween night (which is this Sunday), the Center will be offering treats to guests from 4 to 6 PM, which will be handed out by costumed volunteers.
The event is not just limited to trick or treating, however, as guests are welcome to explore the entire property. Guests are encouraged to roam the Genevieve Green Gardens, the Ewing Manor, as well as the Theatre at Ewing. Guests are also welcome to take pictures of the grounds.
Trick-Or-Treating at the Manor is an annual event held in honor of prominent feminist and Bloomington resident Hazle Buck Ewing, who hosted similar events when she was alive. The manor and property were donated to the ISU Foundation upon her death in 1969.
For those who wish to attend the event, parking is available at the nearby St. John’s Lutheran Church.
