Kendal Meier to Miss Significant Time with Injury

NORMAL- On Tuesday afternoon, Illinois State Volleyball Head Coach, Leah Johnson announced that Junior Kendal Meier who missed yesterday’s match vs. Evansville, will miss 6-8 weeks with an undisclosed injury. Coach Johnson says the team will know more about the extent of the injury next week but hopes Meier will be back in time for postseason play.  More updates will be provided as details emerge.

Minor Accident Causes back-up on University Street

NORMAL - An accident on University Street in Normal has backed up traffic near the Fell Hall parking lot entrance at Illinois State University. According to one of the drivers involved in the accident, a Connect Transit bus running the Redbird Express route hit the left mirror of a Ford Explorer. As a result, traffic on University Street is backed up. Emergency personnel, including one Firetruck, are on the scene.
