On this week’s edition of Second Look, WZND’s Colleen Holden, Luke Biondi, and the News and Sports team covered upcoming Black History Month events, the second-annual Jelani Day remembrance dinner, local developments from the past week, and an interview with ISU’s newest addition to the athletic faculty team.

The show opened with an interview between Alexandra Courson from the news team, and Interim Chief Equity and Inclusions Officer Byron Craig about ISU Black History Month events, and why recognizing months like these is so important (0:56-5:35).

Following that, Joey Delahunty sat down with Jelani Day’s mother Carmen Bolden Day to discuss what Day’s remembrance dinner means to her, and why the FBI’s new law regarding unrecognizable bodies is so important (5:59-10:35).

Next, Luke and Colleen discussed the local developments occurring over the last week, as well as an update on local sports (11:15-15:07).

Finally, the show closed with an interview with Jaden Cohn from the news team, and the new ISU Soccer coach, Raleigh DeRose (15:26-19:32).
