Second Look: September 1st

On this week’s episode of Second Look, WZND’s Joey Delahunty and Jaden Cohn took a look at the Bloomington Public Safety and Community Relations Board, this year’s unique Festival ISU and Bloomington’s new ice hockey team, the Bloomington Bison.

The show opened with an interview between Joey Delahunty from the news team and PSCRB members Rachel McFarland and Art Taylor, regarding the purpose of the board and their latest meeting.

Following that, we heard Jaden’s interviews with Jacob Rottinghaus from the Dean of Students as well as Alex Prince, the president of ISU’s Film Society. They discussed Festival ISU’s purpose and why it found a new venue this year.

Next, Joey and Jaden discussed the local developments occurring over the last week and gave an update on local sports.

Finally, the show closed with an interview between Jaden and Phillip Barski, the Head Coach of the Bloomington Bison ice hockey team.
