The RedZone with Kristin Gillespie – March 17th, 2022

This weeks show was a little different than most, as Leo and Joey traveled to Iowa City to cover the women’s basketball game against Iowa. Music director Nick Levy joined Joe in the studio to run a two man show, where they talked about ISU baseball and the new hires within the Redbird athletic program (1:30-15:02). Women’s basketball head coach Kristin Gillespie joined to talk about the MVC tournament and their upcoming game against Iowa (15:06-31:10). Leo and Joey then tuned in live from their hotel in Iowa to talk about their experience so far at the NCAA tournament, as well as the matchup between the Redbirds and the Hawkeyes (31:17-44:30). Lastly, Nick and Joe discuss their already broken brackets and the games that happened leading up to 9 PM on Thursday (44:40-59:40).
