Illinois reaches over 7,500 COVID-19 cases

CHICAGO, Ill. - Illinois Department of Public Health announced 715 new cases of COVID-19 and an additional 16 deaths. Illinois is now at a total of 7,695 cases of the virus and 157 deaths. Cases have reached 61 out of the 102 counties. McLean County health officials reported an additional 11 cases of the virus today. This brings the county total to 31 cases and two deaths.
