NORMAL - The Normal town council held a meeting to amend the town Zoning Code to regulate adult-use cannabis facilities. The Planning Commission made their recommendation and presented it to the council. The Commission originally discussed expanding regulations in order to accommodate to nursing homes. NORMAL- On Oct. 21 the Normal town council approved the amendment of the zoning regulations for marijuana businesses. The council had discussed the possibility of delaying the approval for the zoning ordinances because they wanted to see if the marijuana industries would reach out to them after delaying the vote.
