Illinois reaches over 7,500 COVID-19 cases

CHICAGO, Ill. - Illinois Department of Public Health announced 715 new cases of COVID-19 and an additional 16 deaths. Illinois is now at a total of 7,695 cases of the virus and 157 deaths. Cases have reached 61 out of the 102 counties. McLean County health officials reported an additional 11 cases of the virus today. This brings the county total to 31 cases and two deaths.

Illinois reports largest jump in COVID-19 cases in a day

CHICAGO, Ill. - Illinois health officials announce 673 news cases of COVID-19 and seven more deaths. Illinois Department of Public Health reported an additional 673 new cases bringing the total to 2,538. This is the largest jump in a day the state has reported.
